This Privacy Policy describes Teamie Pte Ltd’s (referred to herein as "TEAMIE") privacy practices in relation to the use of TEAMIE’s website or learning management Platform (the “Websites”) and the related applications and services offered by TEAMIE (the “Services”). TEAMIE highly values privacy of individuals who visit the Websites (“Visitors”) and individuals or organizations who register to use the Services (“Clients”). By visiting the Websites or by using any of the Services, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.

  • Websites covered

This Privacy Policy covers all the Websites that link to this Privacy Policy, including theteamie.com, subdomains like *.theteamie.com or custom domains that are preferred by clients and point to our Websites.

  • Information collected and its use

TEAMIE collects only as much information as we need to perform the services requested, and we does not use that information for other purposes without obtaining your consent. When we collect any information from you, we always gives you timely and appropriate notice describing what information we are collecting and how we will use that information.

TEAMIE receives and store certain types of information whenever you interact with the Websites or use the Services. TEAMIE automatically receives and records information such as your IP address, cookie information, and the page you requested. TEAMIE currently uses cookies in three ways:

(i) to store your session while you are logged in, 

(ii) to remember your account settings, and

(iii) to determine if your system is compatible with certain technologies such as Flash and JavaScript.

Unless you choose to identify yourself to us either by logging into your account or filing out a web form, you are considered a Visitor and you remain anonymous to us. We also record the details of your activity such as pages visited, duration and frequency of access. Unless you are logged into a Website, we only use such information in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. This type of aggregate data enables us to figure out how often you use parts of the Websites or Services so that we can make the websites appealing to you, and improve those services.

This information may include:

  1. Personal data such as your name, email address, photograph, phone number, or
  2. Organization name, registration number, registered address, number of users; in case you are subscribing to our Services, or
  3. Any other information necessary for us to provide our Services.

The information you provide is used for such purposes as providing you access to our Services, responding to your support requests, or to provide you more information about our Services. You may choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our features.

  • Interaction with other users

TEAMIE may provide you access to features on the Websites for which you may choose to share your personal information with others who may send you unsolicited messages. TEAMIE is not responsible for the personal information you choose to share with others.

TEAMIE posts a list of its Clients and testimonials on the Websites that contain information such as Client names and titles. TEAMIE obtains the consent of each Client prior to posting any information on its Websites.

  • International transfer of information

TEAMIE will primarily store your data in Singapore. To deliver features that are offered by leveraging integration with third party platforms and for disaster recovery purposes, we may transfer your data to other countries as well. Such data is transferred and stored in encrypted formats for security reasons. This Privacy Policy shall apply even if we transfer your data to other countries.

  • Client data & accuracy of information

TEAMIE will not review, distribute or reference any Client data except as provided in the Services Agreement or as may be required by law. TEAMIE will provide ways for you to access your personal information, as required by law, so you can correct inaccuracies. You may request deletion of your account by emailing support@theteamie.com. TEAMIE also encourages you to remove any information which you no longer want to share with others. Please note that some information may remain in our records after deletion of your account. Further, information may remain viewable elsewhere to the extent that it was copied or stored by other users with whom you interacted or gave access to that information. We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you delete your information, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.

  • Sharing of information

TEAMIE may share your information with TEAMIE’s business partners or service providers that are either identified by you and contracted by TEAMIE, or contracted directly by TEAMIE, to provide specific services to you. The extent of information shared varies with the scope of service provided and will not identify you personally, unless otherwise stated and shall be in full compliance with the requirements of Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore and its regulation(s) ("PDPA"). TEAMIE does not control the privacy policies of its business partners or service providers and hence if you do not you wish to share information with the business partners or service providers then you can opt out of the concerned service.

  • Mobile Applications

In addition to information gathered through its Websites or submitted to its Services, TEAMIE may obtain information through applications (“Mobile Applications”) that Clients or their authorized individuals (“Users”) download to, and run on, their mobile devices (“Devices”). Mobile Applications provided by TEAMIE may obtain information from, or access data stored on, Users’ Devices to provide services related to the Mobile Application. Mobile Applications may transmit information to and from Devices to provide the Mobile Application services.

Mobile Applications may provide TEAMIE with information related to Users’ use of the Mobile Application services, information regarding Users’ computer systems, and information regarding Users’ interaction with Mobile Applications, which TEAMIE may use to provide and improve the Mobile Application services. TEAMIE may also share anonymous data about these actions with third party providers of analytics services.

Clients may configure TEAMIE’s Mobile Application services, and the information accessed or obtained by the Mobile Application on a User’s Device may be affected by the Client’s configuration. Information accessed or obtained by the Mobile Application on a User’s Device may be accessible to the Client and its organization, depending on the intended functionality of the Mobile Application.

TEAMIE’s Mobile Applications may also contain links or integrations to other mobile applications provided by third parties. Third parties’ use of information collected through third-party mobile applications is governed by the privacy statements of such third parties. TEAMIE encourages you to review the privacy statements of third party providers of mobile applications to understand their information practices.

  • Security

Your Personal Information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You may help protect against unauthorized access to your account by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.   • Third party websites

TEAMIE Websites may contain links to other websites. TEAMIE is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices of the other websites. When linking to another website, you should carefully read the privacy policy stated on that website.

  • Communication preferences

If you do not wish to receive email or other communications or notifications from TEAMIE, please email us at support@theteamie.com to inform us about your communication preferences. Please note that if you do not want to receive legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Policy, those legal notices will still govern your use of the Websites and the Services, and you are responsible for reviewing such legal notices for changes.

  • Changes to this Privacy Policy

TEAMIE reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. Use of information that we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes in the way we use Personal Information, we will notify you via email or by posting an announcement on the Websites at least 30 days prior to the change taking effect. You will be bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when you use the Websites and the Services after such changes have been first posted.
